ABOUT ALIGHT HEALING
Carolyn O’Brien is the founder and CEO of Alight Healing. She is also a health care profressional, NLP practitioner, industry educator that has been certified in massage therapy since 1993, Cranial Sacral since 1999 and has been a Reiki Master since 1994.
Carolyn brings a wealth of experience to her practice due to 20 years in the health care industry as a medical assistant and x-ray technician. She was educated at Evergreen State College, the Oregon School of Massage and graduated from the East West College of Healing Arts. Her continued studies and teaching of deep tissue massage, soft tissue manipulation, myofascial release and Cranial Sacral therapy have made her a leader in the massage and energy healing profession.
In the beginning, Carolyn’s calling to massage was a spiritual awakening that led her to, “counsel with a touch”. Confused by the calling, she began a journey of discovery. When she was invited to do Missionary work in Mexico, all the pieces finally came together. It was this very opportunity that clarified her calling and developed her gifts of healing through the understanding & acceptance of unconditional love.
Today, Carolyn shares her gift of touch by putting into practice the lessons that she learned on that journey. She approaches her work as a chance to participate in a person’s life discovery. To help them feel loved and appreciated for who they are. She has seen first hand the positive physical response experienced by her clients through her work.
